What should I do immediately after an animal bite?

Wash the wound thoroughly with running water and soap for at least 10 minutes. Then, visit the nearest Animal Bite Treatment Center as soon as possible for proper medical evaluation and vaccination.

Do I need to complete all the vaccine doses?

Yes. Completing the full series of anti-rabies shots ensures complete protection. Missing a dose can reduce the vaccine’s effectiveness.

How soon should I get my anti-rabies vaccine after being bitten?

Even if the animal looks healthy, you should still visit the clinic. Rabies symptoms may not be visible right away. The doctor will assess the situation and recommend whether vaccination is needed.
